Ibiza Ice set for UK launch

Ibiza Ice is a lightly sparkling wine-based cocktail that launched in Ibiza in May. It is set to launch in the UK this September.

The drink will be available in two flavours: White Isie - a white wine-based drinks with lychee, lemon, melon and kiwi; and Sunset – a rosé-based drink with a hint of natural peach. The drink contains 57 calories per 100ml.  

Creator Richard Horwell, a regular Ibiza-goer for 20 years, said: "I have been working in the soft drinks industry for ten years but the Holy Grail for me has always been to develop an alcoholic drink that is perfect for females.  I know it has been said before, but Babycham hit the nail on the head - Ibiza Ice for me is that drink, the one I have been looking for, plus quite a few guys seem to like it too!"

Horwell is also the creator of both trade wine cooler ‘Chilla’ and the domestic ‘VinChilla’.
