Nemiroff celebrates strong sales

Nemiroff has reported strong growth in 2010. The Ukrainian vodka brand said sales volumes rose to $473.6 million – $56.8 million (13.6%) up on the previous year. The company said the largest growth areas were Ukraine and Poland.

In the Ukrainian market, the total figure of annual sales was more than $221.5 million, which exceeded the previous year’s results by 28.9%. In Ukraine, the company sold some 4.97 million decaliters of drinks (+11.7%).

In Poland, sales of products under the Nemiroff International brand grew by 9.6% in value terms and by 12.3% in volume terms.

According to Nemiroff’s results, the company’s duty free presence grew by 82%. But the company said it paid a high amount of taxes. In 2010, the bill reached $211.3 million (+27%).

This figure included taxes paid to the state budget of Ukraine, which amounted to $100 million (UAH793.59 million). This exceeded the previous year’s results by +36%.
