Glenglassaugh splits distillery manager role

The Glenglassaugh Distillery Company has appointed Mhairi McDonald and Graeme Morrison, to together fill the out-going role of distillery manager.

From July, McDonald will take up the role of production manager, responsible for all production stages, from raw material to final spirit.

McDonald is currently trainee manger at Glenglassaugh and has experience of working for Diageo and Chase Distillery.

She has a first class honours degree in brewing and distilling from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.

Greame Morrison will become the maturation manager on July 1, with responsibility for filling operations and maturing stock.

Morrison has been with The Glenglassaugh Distillery Company since it reopened in 2008. He previously worked for Chivas’ filling store operation in Keith, Scotland.
