Axcell is to be succeeded by professor Katherine Smart, effective June 1 2012. Smart is currently SAB Miller professor of brewing science and the head of the school of biosciences at the University of Nottingham.

I am pleased that Barry has agreed to continue to provide consulting services to SAB Miller.
