HDN expands marketing and sales departments

UK distributor Hallgarten Druitt & Novum Wines has expanded its marketing and sales teams with Chris Wilson joining as communications manager and Clare Cutler as national accounts manager.

Reporting to marketing director Helen Munday at HDN, Wilson will be responsible for the company’s internal and external communications, managing all web and social media content, overseeing press activity via the company’s PR agency and working on campaigns.

Wilson spent 14 years in journalism, including three years as features editor at mirror.co.uk.

Clare Cutler joins HDN from Free Run Wines, where she worked as national accounts manager for the last three and a half years, looking after various clients across the major multiple, specialist and convenience sectors.

Prior, Cutler worked for ten years at Thierry’s Wine Services, holding the position of national commercial executive from 2000 to 2008 before being promoted to national account manager. Cutler will work alongside Mark Dennison and Richard Brooks on the multiples team.

Andrew Bewes, managing director of HDN said: “These are key appointments for us and we very much look forward to welcoming Chris and Clare to the company.

“Chris’s extensive media experience and wine knowledge and Clare’s background of working closely with multiple retailers mean they’re great additions to our team, and will help us improve service to all our customers.”
