Keiller joins Last Drop Distillers

The Last Drop Distillers has announced the appointment of Mike Keiller to its team of board of directors.

He joins from from Morrison Bowmore Distillers, where he spent 14 years as CEO. Keiller will oversee the financial and corporate strategy of the growing spirits business, including all financial planning.

At Morrison Bowmore, Keiller managed its development from a bulk whisky supply and services operation to a leading single malt producer with brands including Auchentoshan, Bowmore, Glen Garioch and McClelland’s.

Prior to this, Keiller held the role of director of financial planning and control at BT UK, following a 14-year stint at Guinness (now part of Diageo).

Last Drop says Keiller’s appointment demonstrates its ambition to continue and accelerate its expansion as a global luxury spirits brand.

Last Drop looks out for and bottles from rare casks of what are deemed exceptional spirits. The company was founded in 2008 by three spirits industry pioneers, who had between them previously worked on brands such as Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Chivas Regal 18 Year Old, Malibu and Baileys Irish Cream.
