Joseph Holt serves up Westminster
Published:  28 March, 2017

Members of the UK Parliament gathered to celebrate the sale of Joseph Holtís golden ale Two Hoots in the Palace of Westminster.

British brewer Joseph Holt, founded in 1849, invited members of the UK government to a pint pouring competition in Westminsterís private ĎStrangerís Barí where the beer is now available on draught.

Joseph Holt chief executive, Richard Kershaw said: ďIt was a first for Joseph Holt and a first for Two Hoots to have our beer on sale in the Strangerís Bar in the House of Commons.

ďWe are very grateful to Mike Kane, the MP for Wythenshawe for arranging this and also to all the MPs who joined us on the night and toasted the success of Holtís with a Two Hoots.Ē

Joseph Holt says that Two Hoots is a light, crisp and balanced refreshing ale with a hint of citrus.

Two Hoots was awarded a gold medal at the Brussels Beer Challenge for draught and will be available in cask and bottles.
