Australian government hits out at Brewdog

A representative of the government of South Australia has posted a bizarre marketing video calling Scottish Brewers Brewdog “rude w*****s” after plans to build a brewery in Adelaide stalled.

James Mraz, deputy agent general to the government of south Australia released the video after Brewdog failed to respond to an open letter written by agent general Bill Muirhead.

In this letter Muirhead expressed his disappointment at the lack of response from Brewdog and suggested that: “When you get the dogs neutered, maybe have your own balls off?”

A Facebook page named ‘Bring Brewdog to Adelaide’ has been set up to encourage the Scottish brewers to reconsider expanding its empire to Australia, which it announced to do in July.

The page contains various videos encouraging the move and Mraz also makes a reference to Brexit by comparing the Brewdog deal to that of the EU and UK.
