Bordeneuve Châteaux & Collections records historic harvest
Published:  26 October, 2018

Armagnac producer Bordeneuve Châteaux & Collections has reported the largest ever harvest in the history of the brand.

The producer owns 40ha of land within the Armagnac region of south France with around 100,000 individual vines, which has produced 3,000 hectoliters of wine at harvest.

“After almost two weeks of solid picking, harvest at Domaine de Bordeneuve closed with the last plot of Baco grapes,” said Jérôme Castledine, commercial director at Bordeneuve Châteaux & Collections.

“I am extremely happy to be able to inform you that the yields have greatly exceeded all expectations this year, in both quantity and quality: with our newest plantations entering into production, the 2018 pick is the biggest in history for our domain.”

According to Castledine, distillation is due to start on 8 November and run for 6-8 weeks.

Bordeneuve Châteaux & Collections is sold all around the world from Thailand to Slovakia and its Baron De Sigognac range is listed amongst some of The World’s 50 Best Bars, including this year’s number one, Dandelyan in London.
