India: Diageo has launched Ketel One vodka in Mumbai.
India: Diageo has launched Ketel One vodka in Mumbai.
The Dutch vodka went on sale in the country this month (April).
Ketel One is available for Rs. 3,000 (including taxes) in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore as well as in duty-free for 40 USD.
Santosh Kanekar, executive director - marketing, Diageo India, said: “At the heart of Ketel One, lies a family’s passion and ten generations’ craft. It is truly an honourable opportunity to introduce a fine craft like Ketel One to Indian consumers.
“We are delighted to excite discerning palettes by bringing this global favourite to India.”
The Nolet Group, the family owned distiller of Ketel One vodka, formed a 50/50 company with Diageo in June 2008. Diageo has exclusive global rights to sell, market and distribute Ketel One Vodka while the Nolet Group continues to manage its production.
