Bacardi names new chief financial officer

Bacardi has made Jacques Croisetière its new chief financial officer and senior vice president.
Bacardi, the largest privately held spirits company in the world, has made Jacques Croisetière its new chief financial officer and senior vice president.
The 55-year-old succeeds Ralph Morera, 64, who is retiring. He will join the company on August 3 and will be based in the Bacardi Limited global headquarters in Hamilton, Bermuda, subject to approval by the Bermuda Department of Immigration.
Croisetière was most recently at Rohm and Haas where he was chief financial officer for six years. In a 10-year career with Rohm and Haas, he assumed positions of increasing responsibilities including vice president and European region director.
He was a key architect in the recent purchase of Rohm and Haas by The Dow Chemical Company. Croisetière also worked for Morton International Inc. from 1990-1997 and Sara Lee Corporation from 1983-1990. He is a chartered management accountant.
The company says Croisetière was selected as part of a planned and orderly succession process. His appointment will be confirmed by the Bacardi Limited board of directors and will become effective July 9, at the company’s annual general meeting.
