Campari unveils a 16-year-old Glen Grant

Gruppo Campari has introduced a 16-year-old expression to its Glen Grant single malt scotch whisky range.

The 16 Year Old is said to bring a new intensity of flavour to the range of fresh, clear whiskies, whilst still maintaining the distillery’s distinctive light taste, golden hue and fruity tones.

The 16 Year Old, which has 43% abv, is described as having a “deep and smooth bouquet of orchard fruits, a soft, fresh fruit palate and an intensely long, lingering finish”.

The new single malt joins the Glen Grant portfolio, which includes the Major’s Reserve, 10 Year Old and 1992 Cellar Reserve.

Master distiller Dennis Malcolm said: “The instantly recognisable Glen Grant golden hue has taken on a slightly deeper tone with the 16 Year Old and its fruity notes have come to the fore, but it is still unmistakably a Glen Grant and we’re sure people will really enjoy it.”
