Brown-Forman appoints Asia Pacific boss
Brown-Forman has appointed Michael McShane as managing director for Asia Pacific, effective February 1, 2011. McShane succeeds Stuart Beck who is to retire from the company in May 2011. McShane will be based in Hong Kong.
McShane joined Brown-Forman in 1999 as finance director, Brown-Forman Beverages, Australia/NZ. He has most recently served as managing director, North Asia. He is also a past chairman of the Distilled Spirits Industry Council of Australia.
Brown-Forman brands include Jack Daniel’s, Southern Comfort, Finlandia and Tequila Herradura.
