Fuller's posts half-year growth of 6%

London Pride brewer Fuller’s has announced half-year growth of 6% after registering a turnover of £128m.

The UK brewer and pub company’s results span the half-year leading up to October 1 2011.

The largest part of Fuller’s business, managed pubs and hotels, saw sales hike 3.9%, while beer volumes increased 2% during the period.

Michael Turner, chairman of Fuller’s, said: “I am pleased to announce a good set of results for the first half of the financial year, driven by growth in all parts of the business.

“These results highlight the successful execution of our long term strategy, which has remained unchanged despite the economic pressures on the UK consumer.”

Turner added that additional funds are available for new investments but that the strategy remains highly selective and patient.
