Little is Funkin’s new sales director
Funkin has appointed Simon Little, formerly of Diageo, Percy Fox, SABMiller, Greene King and Gaymers, as its new sales director.
The leading cocktail brand with its range of purées and mixers, says it has had a “hugely successful 2012 which saw 30% growth”.
Two new account managers, Gary Fowler and Daniel Gomme have also joined the sales team, with responsibilities spanning on trade, retail, cash and carry and online sales. Fowler previously held on and off trade positions at Global Brands and Gomme was account Development Manager at Miller Brands, and before that, Brand ambassador for cranberry juice brand, Ocean Spray.
Funkin’s marketing team has also been bolstered with three recruits. Joana Lenkova, former brand manager at InBev, joins as senior brand manager. Heading up the marketing team, Lenkova will be responsible for development and implementation of marketing strategy, PR and advertising campaigns as well as new product development. She is joined by brand manager, Sarah Aubrey, who previously worked at Beam Global,New Zealandand will focus on consumer campaign implementation and on and off trade channel activation. Lexi Byrne joins as marketing executive and will be responsible for website and social media management and trade channel implementation.
