Round the world brewing

Meantime Brewing has collaborated with five of the world’s best craft breweries to offer a work experience with a difference.

One craft beer fan will win an all-expenses paid opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in craft beer-making in the world.

The trip includes a round-the-world air ticket, four days working at each brewery learning the tricks of the trade, from brewing and bottling to pulling pints and organising events.

Alongside Meantime, the other breweries taking part include Four Pines Brewing Company in Sydney, the Feral Brewing Company in Swan Valley, Western Australia, Good George Brewing in Hamilton, New Zealand, The Brew in Shanghai, China and Victory Brewing Meantime Brewing in Philadelphia.

Applications open this week with candidates from each area applying for a place.

Hopefuls will need to address one main point – why they deserve to win the place. With only one photo and 50 words required, candidates are encouraged to get creative in their applications – giving the reasons why they are right for the role.

Meantime marketing director Rich Myers said: “This is about a global approach to craft brewing – a combination of the best breweries opening up their doors to welcome somebody with a passion for premium quality beer made with the best ingredients, by passionate, talented brewers.

“At Meantime we have just introduced structure to our apprenticeship programmes. This opportunity allows the winner to experience brewing methods and ideas at some of the best establishments across the globe. Who wouldn’t want that on their CV?”
