OLN salutes the best of UK drinks retailing
Off Licence News’ Drinks Retailer Awards took place in London’s Dorchester Hotel last night, celebrating success and innovation in the UK sector.
Multiple Wine Retailer and Supermarket of the Year went to Waitrose, Independent Drinks Retailer of the Year was Selfridges & Co, while Newcomer of the Year was won by Lancaster Wine Company.
The full results are listed below.
OLN editor Rosie Davenport (right) hosted the 400-attendee event wearing a dress made of cork.
She said: “Having a dress made out of cork to present this year’s Drinks Retailing Awards was the obvious choice and a real show stopper. It was also great to challenge perceptions about an everyday object like the cork closure and transform it into something so much more and a bit off the wall.”
