Diageo GTME announces two appointments
Diageo Global Travel and Middle East (GTME) managing director Doug Bagley, has announced two senior appointments to his Singapore-based team.
Peter Fairbrother is appointed global marketing director, GTME and will spearhead all brand and marketing activities in travel retail globally, in support of the global growth strategy of the business.
He previously held the position of white spirits director and was responsible for Diageo’s global Reserve vodka and gin portfolios. Fairbrother has held a number of key management positions during his 20-year tenure in Diageo, and replaces Steve White who has returned to Diageo UK to the position of marketing director, Africa regional markets.
Craig Norwell is appointed strategy & global customer director, GTME. Having joined Diageo four years ago, he most recently held the role of route-to-consumer director for Diageo Asia Pacific. In his new role, Norwell will lead business development in the burgeoning travel retail channel globally to capitalise on the growth opportunities within the industry.
