Les Dauphins and BBC Children in Need

Rhône wine brand Les Dauphins is running a social media campaign in aid of the BBC’s Children in Need charity appeal.

Les Dauphins is using its social media platforms to tell consumers about its plans to raise money at the BBC Good Food Show in London, starting on Friday November 14 when the BBC Children in Need national telethon also takes place.

At the show, in exchange for donations to BBC Children in Need, Les Dauphins will be giving away its branded merchandise. In addition, wine broadcasting personality and author Oz Clarke, and BBC Saturday Kitchen wine experts Peter Richards MW and Susie Barrie MW, will be lending their support by inviting show visitors to donate to the charity in exchange for a “Selfie” with them on the Les Dauphins stand.

Tasters will be encouraged to taste and tweet about Les Dauphins and to share photos of themselves at the stand on Twitter - a prize from Les Dauphins will be awarded for the best photo.

Richard Evans, director at Les Dauphins’ UK agent Dedicated Wines said: “Our aim is to open up more conversations with wine drinkers now and to increase their experience of the ‘Joie de Vivre’ attitude and style of Les Dauphins. Specifically at the BBC Good Food Show we hope to bring the brand to an even wider audience and to raise money for a fantastic cause.”
