The release of the sparkling wine priced at £5,000 marks the announcement of a long-term partnership between the luxury hotel and award-winning winery.

The Nebuchadnezzar is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in Kent and Sussex and aged for four and a half years on lees.

Edward Allsopp, general manager of the hotel’s Booking Office bar, said: “We were keen to work with an English winery and, as the leading winemaker in the UK, Chapel Down were an obvious choice.”

As the official English wine and beer partner to the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, visitors will be able to sample Chapel Down’s range of wine and craft beers.
