Hop Stuff brewery employs new brew master
Hop Stuff brewery in London has employed Andrew Dickson as head brewer as well as three other members to its sales and marketing team as part of its plans to expand.
The brewery is another example of a successful crowdfunding campaign and Dickson, who holds a degree in brewing and distilling, has held previous roles in six different breweries.
James Yeomans, founder of Hop Stuff brewery, said: “I am delighted to see the Hop Stuff family expand to include four new members, who have already proven to be awesome additions to the team.
“They will play a key role in the company’s expansion and will no doubt breathe new life into our brand, adding to the already ambitious nature of our business and ensuring an exciting future for us all.”
New sales director, Matthew McAloone, joins Hop Stuff with more than a decade of experience in the beer industry including roles at Charles Wells Brewery, Meantime and West Brewing Company.
Making a comeback to the UK beer scene after 25 years in Australia, is newly appointed off-trade sales manager, Dom Hollinshead
Hollinshead said: “I’m very excited to be playing a part in the creation of a brand with a top quality product, a unique story to tell and such huge potential to grow.”
Taking on his first UK role after three and a half years working for Lion Breweries in New Zealand, is brand and marketing manager, Doug Gilbert, who joined in March 2017.
Gilbert added: “I’m pumped to join the crew on a mission to make the beer world a better place’. His beverage of choice is the Four Hour Session IPA, which he describes as ‘refreshing, hoppy, sexy and perfect for any occasion.”
