The British based Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) has expanded its educational programme in Australia, with the launch of its Level 4 Diploma in Wines & Spirits in Sydney this February.

The course will be run at the Sydney Wine Academy at the Northern Sydney Institute, TAFE NSW, offering students the chance to benefit from the “wealth of academic and industry experience available in Australia”.

WSET chief executive Ian Harris said: “As our flagship qualification, the WSET Diploma is highly sought after, and the new programme in Australia represents our eighteenth international market at this level.

“The team at Sydney Wine Academy is committed to ensuring a top quality course and we are confident that the programme rests in safe hands.”

WSET is the largest global provider of education in wines and spirits and the new course in Australia brings its global reach to 51 countries in 18 languages.
