India Bartender Show returns for 2026
After its 2025 debut, India Bartender Show (previously known as India Bartender Week) will return in 2026, expanding its scope to include consumers for the first time.
Conceptualised by industry stalwarts Vikram Achanta, Minakshi Singh, and Yangdup Lama, India Bartender Show’s Bar Summit will be held on 25-26 February 2026 at Le Méridien, Gurgaon.
“India Bartender Show is an important platform as it fills a gap in the current beverage industry. Last year proved how ready Indian bartending is for a wider stage, so this year we are widening the platform with bigger spaces, deeper conversations, and more opportunities for discovery for both bartenders and consumers,” said Achanta.
Building on the success and feedback from its debut, the 2026 edition will amplify both trade engagement and consumer participation, as the Bar Summit 2026 returns with an expanded lineup of programming, panels, and workshops exploring the trends shaping India’s evolving beverage landscape.
The show also includes Beverage Week, taking place from 19-24 February. The week-long event will showcase creativity through drinks made with local Indian ingredients in over 75 bars in NCR, alongside consumer-focused experiences such as whisky dinners, cocktail workshops, wine tastings, craft beer tastings, bar crawls, and more.
New for 2026, the show is introducing three zones: Agave Village, Indian Craft Spirits and Beer, and Wine & No-Low Zones.
As part of the event, the team is bringing back The Handshake Grant for 2026, which empowered over 100 bartenders in 2025 by funding their travel and stay for the India Bar Summit, with a renewed focus on inclusivity and mentorship, expanding its support to younger talent.
“India Bartender Show is becoming the meeting point for South Asia’s bar industry. With representatives from Nepal and Sri Lanka joining us this year, the platform is expanding in a way that feels both natural and exciting. Our focus remains on growth, learning, and building a sustainable ecosystem for beverage professionals across the region,” Lama added.
