Jigger & Pony’s Uno Jang to open debut venue

Uno Jang has announced his first solo project called B.O.P., a Korean cocktail and dining bar based in Singapore, with support from Jigger & Pony.

Originally from South Korea, Jang moved to Singapore in 2015 where he joined Jigger & Pony as a bartender two years later and has since worked across several of the group’s venues.

In 2024 Jang was made creative director of the Jigger & Pony Group, and was recently crowned the Altos Bartenders’ Bartender as part of The World’s 50 Best Bars awards for 2025.

Now undertaking his first solo venture, the venue will represent Jang’s journey, exploring his home country’s culture and craftsmanship through cocktails, cuisine and community.

The venue’s name stands for ‘bartenders of Pony’, referring to those behind the cocktail group, as well as a nod towards the musical term ‘bop’, and the Korean word for rice, bap.

The cocktails at B.O.P. will focus on Korean flavours and everyday rituals, taking inspiration from Jang’s experiences in Korea and Singapore, supported by a dining programme.

B.O.P. is set to open in the first quarter of 2026, with more details to be announced.
