L'Edition Ambassadeur European heats will be held in London, Manchester, Berlin, Madrid and Barcelona. Entrants will be judged on bartending skills, gin knowledge and etiquette. Each preliminary competition features a seminar and a cocktail challenge.

Twelve national winners from the US, the UK, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Australia and Japan, plus three “wild cards” from countries where no preliminaries are held (entries are submitted by video) will be flown to France in June for a week of challenges with Gaz Regan and Philip Duff.  

The winner is to receive US$3,000, training session from Philip Duff, media training and the chance to present seminars at both Tales of the Cocktail 2013 and Bar Convent Berlin 2013.
